The zipline course, abseiling from the trees, and rope bridges high above the forest floor make up Flight of the Gibbon in Chiang Mai. There are 15 ziplines with different lengths and speeds, the largest of which is 800 meters long. The course takes two to three hours to complete and is great fun for both adults and children. The activities are, of course, completely guided, with expert Sky Rangers available to assist tourists along every step of the way. Having done with the adventure courses, tourists are then treated to a short hike to a nearby waterfall.

The Zipline Chiang Mai course of Flight of the Gibbon is located in Mae Kampong, a picturesque highland town. The adventure park collaborates closely with the locals and arranges for tourists to spend a night in a traditional homestay in the town. Location: Between Mae Takhrai National park and Chae Son National Park in the forest Village of Mae Kampong.

Timing: The Flight of the Gibbon experience includes pickup from one’s hotel in Chiang Mai. The pick up timings are as follows:- 6.30am- 8am- 9am- 12.30pm

How to Reach: Tourists will be picked up from their hotels in Chiang Mai and taken to the adventure course in air conditioned vans. The drive is an hour away from Chiang Mai city center.

Best time to visit: Bangkok’s weather remains best during its winter months, that is, between December and March. The temperatures remain on the lower side, and the weather remains cool and pleasant, making it the ideal time for outdoor adventure sports.

    At each of the Zipline course locations, Flight of the Gibbon employs a full-time staff of international safety and maintenance specialists. Courses and equipment are inspected regularly, and any worn or damaged components are replaced as soon as possible. Every month, a detailed assessment is done, and complete maintenance logs are kept on-site at each facility.

    The adventure course employs Petzl and ISC equipment from France and England, both of which meet or exceed European safety standards. They are also the first zipline firm in Thailand and Southeast Asia to put the 'Zippy Anti-Roll Back Cam' to the test, which prevents zipliners from rolling back on the zipline wire.
